007 Kinematic Influences: Excessive ROM continued...

Excessive Calcaneal Inversion

Excessive calcaneal inversion drives tibial and hip external rotation. External hip rotation drives a posterior pelvic tilt and over-recruitment of deep hip external rotators.

Muscles responsible for this are:

  • Posterior tibialis
  • Soleus
  • Anterior tibialis
  • Intrinsics
