007 Abduction – Adduction

Abduction (= taking away- abduct) Refers to movement of a bone away from the midline of the body. This movement is in the frontal plane. Adduction (= returning or to move toward- add to) Refers to movement of a bone toward the midline of the body. This movement is in the frontal plane.
