External rotation. Other elements of motion associated
with external rotation are:
Supination
- turning the palm of the hand up or rotating the foot's plantar
surface inward.
Inversion - angling the hand
toward the thumb side or turning inward of the foot toward the
big toe side.
Adduction - movement across the midline to
the side opposite the extremity.
