063Karate Kick

Starting Position: Stand with arms out to sides.
Action: Tilt the upper torso and pelvis to the left, bring the knee in and kick to the right and back down (like a snap kick). Repeat left and alternate legs. You can also roll the hips forward and back to do the karate kick to the front. (see video)
Arms: Use assisting arms. This will vary between clients.
Form Cues: Contract the abdominals. Avoid over snapping the knees.
Tempos: Water Tempo, ½ water tempo doubles
