(Ex. Leg weights, dumbbells, cables, etc.)
Prone Position Hamstring Curl
Muscle action: eccentric and concentric hamstrings
In prone position on stable surface. Head, torso and thighs should be supported. Legs are suspended from knees to feet.
Start position: Hold weight securely in between feet or ankles. Extend legs with a slight knee bend until almost parallel with ground.
Movement: Bend at knees until feet are perpendicular to floor; return to start position. |
