Neuromuscular Warm-Up

A thorough warm-up is essential to any program, let alone a barefoot balance training program. Again because barefoot balance training requires neuromuscular activation, warming-up the nervous system is an integral feature to this program.

The goal of the warm-up is to:

  • target joint flexibility
  • create muscle activation
  • warm up the neuromuscular system
  • increase ankle and hip mobility
